Job Title: Microfocus Specialist
Location: Aylesbury
Salary/Rate: Outside IR35
Job Type: Contract

We are seeking a Microfocus Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our client for an extended period. This role will primarily involve on-site collaboration in Aylesbury.

Key Requirements:

• Proven expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) in Microfocus technologies.
• Experience in the installation, configuration, and administration of Microfocus Enterprise Developer (DevHub), Enterprise Server software, and Micro Focus Visual Cobol.
• Strong knowledge and experience in development, maintenance, and enhancement of Microfocus Cobol, JCL, CICS, and Micro Focus Visual Cobol.
• Ability to set up environments (Batch and CICS regions) on Microfocus Enterprise Server (MFES) and Micro Focus Visual Cobol.
• Excellent team player with a collaborative approach.
• Self-motivated with a consulting mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with migration or upgrades within the Microfocus platform.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and Nexus 10, along with knowledge of the Life and Pensions sector.
