Senior Estimator

Job Objective:
To develop precise cost assessments for infrastructure initiatives and cultivate partnerships with subcontractors to align with organizational goals.

Primary Duties:
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Generate and oversee cost projections
  • Examine tender documentation
  • Perform cost risk evaluations
  • Create a register of risks and opportunities
  • Source quotations for materials and subcontractor packages
  • Evaluate primary costs utilizing estimating software
  • Work in conjunction with the tender planner
  • Compile tender submission documentation
  • Participate in mid-tender and post-tender discussions
  • Adhere to core process protocols
  • Estimate initial costs
  • Champion company values
  • Refresh rates and supplier information
Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience as an estimator for large-scale projects
  • Ability to liaise effectively with the supply chain
  • Self-driven and proactive attitude
  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong presentation abilities
