Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to oversee various sites in the Slough area and its surroundings.

A valid driving license is required, and candidates must meet the eyesight test requirements as per the Highway Code. This ensures that all our drivers can safely fulfill their responsibilities in compliance with legal standards.

Responsibilities:

As a Grounds Maintenance Specialist, you will perform general landscaping duties across all managed sites according to the weekly schedule set by management.

This full-time position encompasses all gardening tasks, including mowing, edging, hedge trimming, and weeding. Flexibility in working arrangements and site coverage is essential.

Additionally, basic handyman tasks such as sign installation, camera cleaning, and simple reporting will be part of your responsibilities. We seek an individual with a proactive attitude, eager to exceed client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance.
  • Full driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Proficient in using various gardening tools and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Preferred: PA1 & PA6 certification.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and high personal standards.
  • Reliability and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Friendly and courteous demeanor.
  • Punctuality and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently while keeping your supervisor informed of progress.
