Electrical Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Reed. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations within commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations within commercial properties.
  • Perform testing, inspection, and fault finding of electrical equipment.
  • Complete all administration related to repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of working away and out of hours.
Requirements:
  • Full UK manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months, with a maximum of 6 points.
  • NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification.
  • City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 inspection and testing qualifications are desirable.
  • AM2 or equivalent.
  • Good level of IT literacy.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
  • IPAF and PASMA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
  • Must meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
