About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Partner to join our team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a key member of our Deal Execution Services team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, supporting the origination and execution of client transactions across debt, equity, and mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with deal teams, supporting the origination and execution phases of transactions for a portfolio of clients across various sectors in EMEA and cross-border deals with North America.
  • Transaction Management: Ensure timely completion of client activities and transaction milestones, including client media coverage, ESG/sustainability related assessment, sanctions due diligence, deal announcements, and closure.
  • Due Diligence Support: Join due diligence calls with deal teams to identify and coordinate necessary follow-up actions.
  • Deal Pipeline Management: Manage and monitor deal pipeline.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with compliance, legal, credit, research, finance and business management, and other teams on clients and transactions.
  • Meeting Attendance and Oversight: Attend meetings and provide end-to-end oversight of the underwriting committee approval process.
  • Know Your Customer Support: Partner with the Know Your Customer team to facilitate advisory for new and existing business, ensuring the timely and accurate completion.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, alleviating administrative workloads and improving efficiency.
  • Deal Controls: Keep a close eye on deal controls, ensuring that all milestones are achieved on time and that any issues are promptly addressed.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience and sound knowledge of investment banking products such as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Leveraged Finance (LF), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), or corporate banking such as Loans.
  • Client Interaction: Comfortable interacting with clients, C-Suite, and senior executives, on a regular basis.
  • Self-Driven: Highly self-driven with the ability to work independently and take full ownership.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to juggle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to identify problems and drive effective resolutions.
  • Proactive Mindset: A proactive mindset with a track record of delivering dependable, timely, and accurate partnership to deal teams and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relationship Management Experience: A background in relationship management, sales, or deal execution services is advantageous.
