Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to support a child in Year 1 with specific learning and pastoral needs. The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 12:00. This is a fixed-term position until 31st August, with the possibility of review in the summer term. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, and able to work effectively with the child and the school team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to the child, helping with their learning and pastoral needs. This will involve working closely with the child, the class teacher, and other members of the school team to ensure the child's needs are met. The candidate will also be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the school's safeguarding policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have experience working with children with specific needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. The candidate will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the school's safeguarding policies.
