Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support our food and beverage services at the Pendulum Hotel and Manchester Conference Centre.

This role will involve managing and operating our bar, restaurants, and conference/event facilities, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of procedure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Day-to-Day Management: Manage and operate our food and beverage services, including inventory management, staff supervision, and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve their personal and company goals, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Set and manage budgets, increasing sales and conversions within the department.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with guests, clients, and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

The successful candidate will have previous supervisor/management experience within a hotel and/or conference and events environment, with excellent communication and leadership skills. They will be comfortable working independently and motivating their team to achieve their goals.
