About the Role

The primary focus of this position is to manage the collection of outstanding debts from clients while fostering and maintaining strong relationships with them. Additionally, you will assist with various finance-related tasks as time allows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact clients to ensure compliance with payment terms and achieve collection targets.
  • Set up new client accounts in the accounting system prior to activation.
  • Conduct credit assessments for all new client accounts and advise on credit limits to the finance team leader.
  • Accurately reconcile incoming payments against client accounts.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare monthly payment schedules for suppliers.
  • Respond promptly to supplier inquiries.
  • Process invoices for both suppliers and clients efficiently.

Skills and Experience


• Proficient in Sage 50 accounting software


• Strong verbal and written communication abilities


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately


• Capable of identifying and implementing improvements in service delivery and processes
