Family Support Worker Opportunity

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Nottingham to fill a Family Support Worker position on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. If you have experience working with children and families, we encourage you to apply with your CV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and families in setting up short break packages
  • Set up care packages, review and report on them, arrange meetings, and complete statutory visits
  • Cover a duty rota and assist social workers with families requiring additional support

Requirements:

  • Experience working with disability is essential
  • Experience with mental capacity is desirable

Important Notes:

  • Availability to start immediately or on short notice is required
  • Right to work in the UK is necessary
  • An enhanced DBS is required for this role
