We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Portering Services team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to all areas of the hospital, ensuring the smooth running of our services and delivering a high-quality patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- React to various challenges within the working environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective response to requests for patient movement, assistance in emergency situations, and the collection and delivery of samples and medicines.
- Ensure that other tasks, such as the delivery of meal trolleys, linen, goods, and mail, are carried out in a timely manner.
- Work as part of a team, using your own initiative and flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
- A good standard of secondary education.
- Experience in a similar post is desirable.
- Knowledge of the hospital environment is also desirable.
- Ability to travel within the geographical area in a timely manner.
- Able to cope with distressing situations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
