About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Gas/Plumber to join our team at Robertson Facilities Management. As a key member of our mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, high-quality reactive maintenance, planned, and lifecycle service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and our clients.
  • Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
  • Operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal, etc., in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
  • Maintain asset histories, maintenance records, and helpdesk reports, informing the Maintenance Manager of any follow-up action that may be required.
  • Take part in an on-call rota providing 24-hour, 365-day cover to the facilities.
  • Provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services.
  • The postholder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures, and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Management Team in connection with RFM's operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial boilers and affiliated plant.
  • CCN1 CENWAT CPA1 HTR1.
  • Experience of working within critical environments with a working knowledge of the Clean Room Validation Process.
  • Managing both Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Building Management Control Systems (BMS).
  • Good IT skills and fluency with a range of PC packages.
  • 2-year minimum experience in installation and servicing A/C, HVAC & Chilled Water Systems and associated plant. Minimum: City & Guilds 2079 F Gas & ODS Regulations.
  • IPAF / PASMA certified.
  • Experience in managing Permit to Work Systems. Working at Height use of high-level and powered access equipment, as well as the use of portable and fixed ladders.
  • Water Management experience of L8.
