Geotechnical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing geotechnical projects from inception to completion, including budget management, site visits, and technical report writing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage geotechnical projects from inception to completion
  • Write and prepare technical reports
  • Prepare and manage financial budgets for different projects
  • Conduct site visits to supervise projects
  • Offer practical foundation advice, contaminated land assessments, and sustainable drainage solutions
  • Work on soil parameters for infrastructure design, economic, and environmentally sustainable remediation solutions
Requirements:
  • Experience in a ground investigation environment working in a similar role
  • Degree-level qualification in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of GEO5 Design Software and geophysical surveys
