About the Role:

As a Senior Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to patients in a variety of clinical areas. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective rehabilitation and discharge plans, and will have opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, developing and implementing effective rehabilitation and discharge plans.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality therapy services.
  • Develop and implement peer support and supervision programs, and provide opportunities for staff development and leadership.
  • Participate in service development, research, and audit, and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Supervise students and junior staff, developing teaching and leadership skills.

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating a range of conditions.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience of general assessment and intervention with patients in a physical setting.
