Liberty Group Investments Ltd is seeking a dedicated Voids Surveyor Gas Engineer to enhance our operations in Wigan and nearby regions. This is a full-time, permanent role, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys on vacant properties and report necessary repairs.
  • Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance of domestic heating systems.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications and gas safety regulations.
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction and safety at all times.
  • Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs.
  • Adhere to operational procedures, safe working practices, and health & safety regulations.
  • Report all accidents, near misses, or potential hazards promptly.
  • Carry out additional maintenance tasks as required.
  • Work flexibly with a diverse clientele.
Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Recognized formal training with relevant craft qualifications, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
  • ACS Qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
  • Desirable qualifications in LPG and UNVENTED systems.
  • A solid understanding of gas legislation.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and adherence to best practices.
  • Strong time management and workload organization skills.
  • Experience in customer service, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in work approach.
