Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals on their rehabilitation journey, assisting them in regaining independence and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical and emotional support to patients during their rehabilitation process.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in therapeutic activities designed to promote physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality care.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and responsibility.
- A genuine passion for rehabilitation and a commitment to supporting individuals in their recovery.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Proficiency in using IT systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel to multiple sites within Berkshire.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rota as required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
