Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of the Furniture Assembler/Bench Hand Joiner will be to assemble high-quality furniture using hand and power tools, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks to meet client demands and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality, accurate, and timely work to meet client demands and tight deadlines.
  • Examine finished and in-process work for defects and flaws before they leave the department.
  • Use paperwork to carry out specific detailed tasks, including labels, drawings, and specifications.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be proactive in contributing to a team environment.
  • Carry out general tasks as required by the Line leader/Manager.
  • Adhere to and maintain all Health & Safety requirements, personal and company-wide.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in joinery or furniture bench assembly.
  • Attention to detail with regards to following plans and specifications.
  • Passion for producing high-quality products.
  • Good communication skills to relay information and understand other department or team requirements.
  • High energy and endurance.
  • Joinery qualification, not essential but an advantage.
