Job Summary

This is a Supervising Barrister position with a leading North West personal injury firm. The successful candidate will undertake advocacy on behalf of the firm, handling a full range of hearings and trials, including liability, quantum, and causation disputes. The role involves supervising two pupil barristers as the firm develops its in-house advocacy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake advocacy on behalf of the firm, handling hearings and trials
  • Supervise two pupil barristers, providing guidance and support
  • Advise, research, analyze, and draft as required
  • Travel on short notice, potentially staying overnight to attend court on consecutive days

Requirements

  • Practising Barrister with over 5 years' experience
  • Previous personal injury experience is preferable
  • Full rights of audience are required
  • Excellent advocacy and communication skills
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability and willingness to travel on a daily basis across the country
