CK Group is seeking an Antibody Discovery Scientist to contribute to a global pharmaceutical company's innovative antibody engineering projects.
This contract role, initially for 12 months, offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research within a dynamic team environment.
- Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute in vitro display library selections and screening experiments.
- Generate bespoke display libraries tailored to bovine antibody engineering projects.
- Conduct binding assays to evaluate the specificity and affinity of engineered antibodies.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project progress.
- Present experimental data at meetings, contributing to scientific discussions.
- Contribute to the development of novel methodologies and techniques in antibody discovery and engineering.
Qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree (ideally PhD) with a strong understanding of immunology, antibody structure and function, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in antibody research is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in molecular biology techniques, including phage and yeast display, and flow cytometry.
- Solid understanding and experience with biochemical techniques for molecular characterization, such as ELISA, FACS, SPR, or BLI, and antibody expression/purification.
- Experience with NGS approaches to antibody discovery is advantageous.
