Electrical Test Technician Job Description

Element Materials Technology is seeking a skilled Electrical Test Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Test Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by performing a wide range of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform EMC testing on a variety of product types, including training, supervision, and mentoring as required.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of EMC testing techniques and test specifications.
  • Support and engage with customers throughout the testing process.
  • Keep accurate records of testing performed.
  • Prepare test reports using established templates.
Requirements:
  • A background and/or interest in electronics.
  • Experience of Commercial, Automotive, and/or Military EMC Testing is desirable, but a recent graduate with an engineering degree or someone with a manufacturing or production background looking for a change of career is also suitable.
  • 37.5 hours per week, working from 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:30am to 3:45pm on Friday. Once training is completed, the role may include shift work.
