Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree is essential, with candidates being either fully or partially qualified (CIMA or ACCA).
- Experience in the oil and gas trading sector is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Familiarity with standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Strong command of financial IT systems is necessary.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the validation and reconciliation of accounts before reporting.
- Prepare statutory financial statements.
- Provide commentary on financial results.
- Compile annual financial reports.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliation and management.
