We are looking for a proficient Warehouse Inventory Specialist with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) to become a valuable member of our team. The successful candidate will oversee the storage, organization, distribution, and documentation of materials, as well as manage inventory effectively.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with 9.5 hours paid daily, breaks are unpaid.

Compensation: £18.00 per hour, available through CIS or Umbrella.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Oversight
    Regularly monitor and maintain inventory levels of MEP materials and components.
  • Inventory Documentation
    Accurately log incoming and outgoing inventory items in the management system.
  • Supply Reordering
    Keep track of stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary to ensure continuous availability.

Receiving and Quality Control

  • Goods Reception
    Receive shipments of MEP materials and equipment.
  • Quality Assurance
    Inspect received items for quality and quantity against purchase orders.
  • Discrepancy Reporting
    Document any discrepancies or damages and communicate with suppliers for resolution.

Storage and Organization

  • Material Organization
    Efficiently store and organize MEP materials and equipment in designated areas.

Distribution and Issuance

  • Order Processing
    Pick and pack MEP materials and tools for distribution to various job sites.

Record Keeping and Reporting

  • Documentation Management
    Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise
    Familiarity with MEP materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Detail Orientation
    High level of accuracy in recording and monitoring inventory.
  • Organizational Abilities
    Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills
    Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Physical Capability
    Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials.

    Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
