Position Overview
To facilitate our ongoing expansion, we are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive. Comprehensive technical and commercial training will be provided; however, we prefer candidates with substantial sales or account management experience. This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow within a well-established manufacturer with a broadening customer base.
Ideal candidates will possess an outgoing personality, a strong desire to secure orders, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team to ensure operational excellence. Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Excel are advantageous.
Above all, successful candidates will be proactive in reaching out to customers to foster strong relationships and generate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the broader sales and estimating team to enhance customer experience.
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers to identify and maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage accounts of existing in-house customers while seeking to develop new accounts.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and enhance the company’s online presence.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the new CRM system.
- Follow up on quotations to ensure customer understanding and timely order placement.
- Provide customers with accurate lead times and product information in consultation with operations, technical, and procurement teams.
- Address customer inquiries regarding quotations, account status, pricing, and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to processes by the estimating and sales teams prior to order booking.
- Acknowledge orders before forwarding them to the operations team in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide sales and administrative support to the wider sales team.
Position Details:
This is a permanent role based in South Wales, offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a production bonus scheme, a Nest pension scheme, and 22 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays.
