Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to join our Growth Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of process and mechanical engineers, providing process and mechanical engineering required for the development of Uniper's growth projects, and acting as an owner's engineer representing Uniper's interests through all engineering phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of up to 8 process and mechanical engineers
  • Provide process and mechanical engineering required for the development of Uniper's growth projects
  • Act as an owner's engineer representing Uniper's interests through all engineering phases
  • Select engineering contractors and monitor and steer FEED delivery
  • Ensure alignment with other engineering disciplines and expert teams within the department
  • Resource planning and coordination, including integration of external resources
  • Technology evaluation and selection

Requirements

  • Engineering degree-level qualification (or equivalent), ideally in process engineering
  • Significant relevant experience in engineering/owners engineering of energy plants/infrastructure
  • Experience of working in an international business environment and leading engineering contractors/teams
  • Knowledge of relevant process and mechanical engineering tools
  • Resilient team player with a high level of self-motivation
  • Business-fluent language English with good communication and presentation skills, command of German/Dutch/Swedish language is a plus
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
