About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Support Specialist to join our team at the University of Hull. As a key member of the Hull York Medical School Student Wellbeing Team, you will play a vital role in providing an effective front-line wellbeing service to our undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high-quality wellbeing service to students, including confidential support and guidance.
  • Build effective relationships with the in-house team, central student support services, and placement providers to deliver an integrated support service.
  • Work collaboratively with our parent universities to ensure a seamless service for all Medical School students.
  • Manage and improve student-facing services, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse student population.
  • Make complex decisions to ensure the wellbeing of students, while understanding regulatory frameworks and appropriate signposting.
Requirements

We are looking for a senior professional with experience in a wellbeing support role, managing and delivering student-facing services. You must be able to work in a hybrid working model, with time split across two university sites and some opportunity for home working.

This is a full-time, open-ended position that requires a criminal records check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
