Position Overview

Email Marketing Strategist - Retention Marketing Agency (eCommerce Focus)

Location: Flexible (Hybrid or Remote)

Salary Range: £50,000 - £65,000

An exceptional opportunity to become part of a growing Retention Marketing Agency.

This agency is experiencing rapid growth and collaborates with a diverse range of eCommerce brands in both the UK and US markets, focusing on retention and email marketing strategies. They are currently seeking a Email Marketing Strategist to oversee and enhance their premium email client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic lead for 4-5 major accounts within the agency.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure outstanding service and results.
  • Oversee project management and delegate tasks to a small creative and implementation team.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding performance and strategy, leading discussions and updates.
  • Collaborate with third-party software to analyze and report on performance metrics (Klaviyo, Google Sheets, Google Analytics).
  • Facilitate and conduct workshops aimed at enhancing the skills of CRM Managers and Heads of CRM.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a CRM Manager with a background in client-side roles or over 2 years in an agency setting managing top-tier email clients.
  • Essential experience in eCommerce, with a solid grasp of eCommerce strategies and customer retention techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Klaviyo, including segmentation, reporting, list management, and custom properties.
  • Experience in developing sophisticated customer journeys for mid-tier and larger brands.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Klaviyo custom reports.
  • Excellent relationship-building and client management capabilities.
  • Experience managing brands with annual revenues exceeding £10M or with subscriber lists over 1M.
