About the Role

JMS Group, a leading member of the Structural Engineering Alliance Group, is seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team in Ipswich. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and managing designs for a variety of projects, from small domestic extensions to large multistorey apartment and office developments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage projects using the latest software and industry standards.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to discuss design and technical solutions.
  • Ensure projects are appropriately resourced and delegated to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
  • Understanding of design tools within a BIM environment.
  • Knowledge of industry design standards, including DMRB and Manual for Streets.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to offer solutions to challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills with training support.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and British standards.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
