Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Associate to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Data Management Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the management of data for our research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with data management project management-related activities, including database setup, data transfer, and data reconciliation.
  • Support the closeout/lock of study databases by coordinating with internal and external clients.
  • Execute and support study activities, including database verification, data transfer program validation, and data transmission.
  • Lead database verification activities, including test plan design, execution, and documentation.
  • Manage data transfer validation activities, including review of data transfer specifications and execution of validation test cases.
  • Prepare and deliver routine and interim/final data transmissions.
  • Assess custom reporting requirements and design recommendations for internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • Previous experience in data management or a related field (comparable to 0 to 2 years).
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting user requirements documents.
  • Programming/logic knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a laboratory and/or clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Occasional drives to site locations and domestic travel may be required. Personal protective equipment may be necessary.

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement and occasional mobility may be required.
