Position Overview: We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our reputable client, embarking on an exciting new venture that could lead to a potential Director level role. The annual salary is up to £48,000, with additional on target earnings reaching £65,000. This role requires a commitment to working Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong background in electrical or electronic disciplines, with relevant knowledge and experience being crucial.
Work Environment: The role involves visiting clients 3-4 days a week, with the remaining time spent in the new office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities
- Promote and drive sales of electrical and electronic products
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations, providing timely reports
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
- Serve as the product champion, offering specialized technical support
- Manage customer accounts effectively
- Recruit and develop an Internal Sales team member
