Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Scientist to join our Analytical Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving excellence in analytical science provision and providing technical consultancy and advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Analytical Development: Bring analytical expertise to guide the development of fit-for-purpose analytical methods for a range of simple and complex drug products, and troubleshoot any method development issues.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Understand and articulate global regulatory requirements for a CMC submission and design the product strategy accordingly.
  3. Lab Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on laboratory troubleshooting for complex analytical challenges when required.
  4. Project Management: Act as pharmaceutical development project leader/manager for some client projects.
  5. Financial Management: Management of the financial and contractual aspects of projects with clients, such as costing proposals and invoicing.
  6. Industry Representation: Participate and present at network events, conferences.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Educated to PhD and greater than 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical sciences and drug development or bachelor's degree and greater than 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical sciences and drug development.
  2. Experience: Experience of progressing the analytical components of various drug projects through different development phases (discovery to launch) across global markets.
  3. Regulatory Knowledge: Wide-ranging experience of interactions with global regulatory authorities.
  4. ICH Quality Guidelines: Good understanding of ICH quality guidelines and global CMC regulatory requirements.
