Exciting Opportunity in Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team as a key member in the development of bulk handling systems and integrated plant-wide systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development: Create General Arrangement Drawings and detailed designs of bespoke bulk handling systems using Autodesk Inventor 3D modelling.
  2. Production and Manufacturing: Produce full detail drawings, including structural sections, sub-assemblies, and sheet metal patterns for manufacturing to produce these systems in-house.
  3. Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and manage projects ranging from £10k to multi-million-pound turnkey solutions.
  4. Technical Expertise: Utilize Autodesk Inventor to produce current standards, including conversion of Inventor models from the USA into Metric, and employ Vault Pro software for file and revision control.

Requirements:

  1. Technical Qualification: Hold a Technical/Mechanical Engineering Qualification (HND/HNC or equivalent).
  2. Design Experience: Possess 2 years plus experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modelling tools (SolidWorks, Catia, ProE, Creo).
  3. Additional Skills: Experience in design of pneumatic circuits and control systems is desirable, as is knowledge of process and electrical engineering.
  4. Soft Skills: Demonstrate excellent team player skills, strong time management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
  5. Desirable Skills: Experience with Autodesk Vault Pro is an advantage.
