Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DT Technician to join our team at a school in the Bolton area. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing materials and resources, and providing technical support to enhance the delivery of the curriculum by the DT department.

About the Role

The DT department is a strong and collaborative team that works closely with staff and students to deliver a high-quality curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience working with basic machinery and a solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare materials and resources for DT lessons
  • Provide technical support to DT staff and students
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of DT equipment and resources
  • Collaborate with the DT team to develop and implement new curriculum ideas
Requirements
  • Qualifications to A Level or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
