**About the Role**

The Linguistic Intelligence team at TikTok is responsible for undertaking language-related annotation projects, specializing in large-volume data annotation supporting multi-language model development, cross-language understanding, language identification, and language research.

As a Project Manager in the Linguistic Intelligence team, you will be the project owner driving end-to-end project management (from requirement gathering to project closure) related to large-volume data annotation supporting multi-language model development, cross-language understanding, language identification, and language research.

You will be working closely with cross-functional and global stakeholders to drive the success of data annotation services for all of TikTok's international products, which can also help international products build their own data ecological security.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Responsible for the full life cycle management of key projects of the AI data service team, able to deliver the project on time with high quality.
  • Able to analyze project delivery and efficiency through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional departments for project evaluation, resources coordination, and subsequent works.
  • Deeply understand the implementation of frontline labeling teams and work with the demand side to develop and optimize labeling guidelines and SOPs.
  • Conduct quality management, progress management, and risk management by data analysis.
  • Continuously optimize the project process and improve the efficiency of project implementation through combining with business characteristics.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience, advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Project Management (end-to-end) skills, ability to control and manage projects as well as excellent coordination, collaborative, and time management ability.
  • Proficiency (both written and verbal) in Mandarin and full proficiency in English due to working with the Chinese market and with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Working experience in labeling, Quality management, and training experience will be an advantage.
  • Linguistic background is a plus.
  • Familiar with office software such as Excel, Word, etc. Experience with data processing tools and other data analysis capabilities are preferred.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional work, stakeholder management, and managing vendors.
  • Flexibility with work schedule and different time zones.
