Job Title: Charity Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Charity Coordinator to join our team at Kushti Bok. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our charity, employer, and service delivery organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain operational systems to ensure the smooth running of Kushti Bok.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of our outputs and outcomes under the TNLCF advocacy project.
  • Seek funding for and/or manage other projects.
  • Liaise and work effectively with members, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Encourage and support volunteer involvement.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of the culture and needs of the Gypsy Roma Traveller communities.
  • Previous experience of office management and coordination.
  • Good communications skills, oral and written.
  • Good numeracy skills and experience of financial reporting.
  • Ability to set up systems to collect data, monitor progress, and produce reports.
  • Ability to monitor and maintain own standards and willingness to attend relevant training.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Experience of working with volunteers.
  • Access to own transport.

About Kushti Bok:

Kushti Bok is a Dorset-based charity that aims to give a voice to the Gypsies and Travellers of Dorset. We are working in partnership with Citizens Advice Central Dorset to deliver the TNLCF advocacy project, which provides information, advice, and support to GRT communities in Dorset and Bournemouth Christchurch Poole.
