Room Attendant Job Description

At Raffles London at The OWO, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Rooms Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our guest rooms and corridors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning duties to the highest standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and corridors.
  • Schedule and complete cleaning tasks efficiently, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned and presented to the required standards.
  • Respond to guest requests and preferences, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping and linen stores, adhering to Raffles standards.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with Raffles SOPs.
  • Take ownership of an allocated section of the hotel floor, working closely with the Floor Supervisor and Housekeeping team.
  • Report any technical or engineering issues to the HSK coordinator or maintenance team.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of providing high levels of service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a 24-hour operational schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
