Daily Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Swisslog engineers, acting as the operational eyes and ears.
  • Identify and report any system-related issues to the control room manager that could adversely affect operations; you may need to address some issues independently, so quick thinking is essential.
  • Manage shortages and escalate concerns to both the customer and the GXO team on-site, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Monitor site systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime whenever possible.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse control environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory or stock management teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is crucial for this position, as accuracy is paramount.
  • A flexible attitude towards shift work is necessary; some shifts may be lengthy, but the rewards and opportunities for growth in this role will be worthwhile.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and related technologies.
