Position: CNC Programmer/Turner

Our areas of expertise encompass suspension systems, vehicle dynamics, carbon fibre structural components, mechanisms, and mechatronics.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Turner with extensive experience in programming and setting. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in producing intricate turned components from materials such as Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel, and Titanium. A solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in working to tight tolerances of 0.01mm diametric precision.
  • Manufacture components from samples and operate independently.
  • Utilize machines including Hardinge T42, Hardinge 6/42, DMG MORI ALX, and Citizen L32 Sliding Head.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship and possession of relevant qualifications.
  • Proven machining experience in a dynamic precision engineering environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of setting and operating multi-axis machine tools to optimize efficiency and uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Significant CNC expertise with Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi (DMG MORI) systems.
  • Ability to meet tight prototype lead times while consistently delivering high-quality machined products.
  • Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to meet team and customer demands.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

This position is offered as a full-time permanent role with a standard working week of 42.5 hours.
