About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated lecturer to join our team at University College Birmingham. As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching electrical installations in a Further Education setting. You will work with senior lecturers and the head of department to ensure our delivery is world-class and that we produce work-ready students for employment or career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach electrical installations to students in a Further Education setting
  • Work with senior lecturers and the head of department to develop and deliver curriculum
  • Contribute to the development of a multimillion-pound retrofit centre for sustainable construction
  • Participate in the development of a cutting-edge facility for electrical installations
  • Collaborate with academic staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching electrical installations in a Further Education setting
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations and related technologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior lecturers and the head of department
