Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manufacturing Systems / Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering NPI projects to volume production. You will lead a small team and be responsible for ensuring all production machinery is configured and programmed to meet quality, safety, and performance expectations.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Manage and coordinate manufacturing software and systems, as well as a small team of engineers/technicians.
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Oversee NPI activities for manufacturing equipment software and systems, ensuring timely and efficient implementation.
  • Maintain documentation and traceability standards, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage and schedule software and system updates for manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
  • Integrate new manufacturing equipment into software and systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing machinery software systems management and programming within highly automated environments.
  • Proven track record of setting up and optimizing manufacturing machinery systems/software and automation for NPI projects.
  • CAD and Gerber file expertise.
  • Relevant engineering qualification.
  • Successful implementation of continuous improvement projects.
  • Team management experience.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in highly automated environments, particularly those with a background in manufacturing systems engineering, software engineering, automation engineering, process engineering, production engineering, or project engineering.
