The Role

As the Chef Manager, you will have full operational and financial responsibility for your school's catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service while showcasing your flair and originality. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing your kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence and motivation.
  • Managing catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensuring consistency in food and service standards for students and staff.
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events.
  • Managing and improving controllable costs.
  • Overseeing menu development and implementation.
  • Maintaining company systems, procedures, and legislation.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met.
About You

We seek someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. Key requirements include:

  • OND or HND qualification (advantageous but not essential).
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and sales targets.
  • Line management experience.
  • Experience in a similar environment.
