Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Andrecruit Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, working closely with our manufacturing team to bring products from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software, with a focus on precision and quality.
  2. Liaise with manufacturing providers to ensure smooth production processes.
  3. Contribute to the final assembly of products, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  4. Produce technical drawings and documentation, as well as project reports and plans.
  5. Update 3D models and drawings to reflect design changes.
  6. Input parts into our MRP system and create BOMs.
  7. Verify drawings for sign-off, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. If you have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working in a manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:
  1. HNC/HND/ Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar work-based experience.
  2. At least 3 years' experience in a similar Design Engineering role.
  3. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  4. Proficient in 3D CAD software, with SolidWorks being a plus.
  5. Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge, including core principles and tight tolerances.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  7. Ability to work well independently and as part of a small team.
