The Best Connection is seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely Operate a Class 1 Vehicle: Ensure the safe operation of a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Follow Delivery Schedules Precisely: Follow delivery schedules precisely and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with site managers and clients to ensure smooth deliveries.
  • Perform Routine Vehicle Checks: Perform routine vehicle checks, reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Keep Your Vehicle Clean and Organised: Keep your vehicle clean and organised, adhering to company standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence: Possess a valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
  • Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card: Hold a current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous Experience in Delivering Construction Materials: Previous experience in delivering construction materials is desirable.
  • Strong Understanding of Safe Loading Practices: Possess a strong understanding of safe loading practices and securing cargo.
  • Good Geographical Knowledge: Have good geographical knowledge of the region and ability to plan efficient routes.
  • Reliability and Punctuality: Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
