About the Role:

Yorkshire Water is seeking an experienced TEC Change Delivery Partner - SAP to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while protecting the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SAP application estate, ensuring its fundamental role in YW's Operating Performance is maintained.
  • Manage an annual change budget of circa £5m and Application Support for circa 4000 SAP Users.
  • Oversee the development of the YW SAP Practice, comprising circa 45 permanent roles, 100 contractors, and partners.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards, and ensure the ongoing performance of Agile Release Trains.
  • Ensure requirements and designs align with business needs and the IT strategy and architecture.
  • Manage project mobilization, incorporating POCs, MVPs, and other relevant methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Significant SAP experience and a proven track record of leading large teams.
  • A clear vision for the development of the SAP Practice to generate value for Yorkshire Water.
  • Experience in managing offshore delivery partners and handling multi-million-pound projects and portfolios.
  • Ability to engage with C-Suite stakeholders, influencing outcomes and managing difficult situations.
  • Extensive experience in managing end-to-end delivery in large organizations.
  • Strong commercial and supplier management skills.
  • Experience in influencing senior stakeholders and designing IT solutions.
  • Extensive experience working with 3rd-party delivery teams.
  • Relevant education or professional qualifications.

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of the Utilities environment.
  • Experience working with digital and cloud technologies.
  • Experience in Agile or Scaled Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Qualifications in PMI – Program Management Professional or Portfolio Management Professional.

Working Arrangements:

We offer a flexible working model, with a hybrid setup requiring an average of 1-2 days in the office per week. This may increase when collaborative efforts, training, or meeting deadlines demand it.
