About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching and Learning Officer to join our team in the School of Social Sciences. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the management and delivery of teaching and learning activities in the School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management and delivery of teaching and learning activities in the School, working collaboratively with academic staff and professional services staff.
  • Develop and implement effective data management systems to support teaching and learning activities.
  • Produce high-quality content for programme handbooks and other teaching and learning materials.
  • Provide expert support to stakeholders on all aspects of undergraduate and postgraduate taught programme management and curriculum development.
  • Work collaboratively with the School Teaching, Learning and Student Experience team to develop and implement teaching and learning strategies.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in teaching and learning, with a strong understanding of curriculum development and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with academic staff and professional services staff.
  • Ability to manage and develop a team of staff, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to meet operational requirements.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
