Job Description

Role Overview

Teach360 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Mentor to join our support staffing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with students who exhibit challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEN needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and support students with EHCP plans, providing tailored support and mentoring
  • Work with identified students in small groups or one-to-one, delivering targeted interventions
  • Run interventions based on student needs, in collaboration with teachers and the Behavioural Team
  • Deescalate challenging behaviour in a calm and proactive manner
  • Build strong relationships with students, fostering a positive and supportive environment
  • Liaise with the SenCo to ensure effective support and resource planning

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with challenging behaviour or SEN needs
  • Approachable and empathetic approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Proactive and able to think quickly on their feet, with a calm and composed demeanor
  • DBS clearance or willingness to obtain
