Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a renowned boutique hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative desserts and working closely with the chef patron to develop a unique dessert offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dessert menus that showcase seasonal garden produce
- Work collaboratively with the chef patron to create a cohesive dessert offering
- Ensure high-quality standards in all aspects of pastry production
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients
- Train and mentor junior staff members
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a Michelin-starred setting
- Knowledge of seasonal garden produce and ability to create innovative desserts
- Calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
