Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a renowned boutique hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative desserts and working closely with the chef patron to develop a unique dessert offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute dessert menus that showcase seasonal garden produce
  • Work collaboratively with the chef patron to create a cohesive dessert offering
  • Ensure high-quality standards in all aspects of pastry production
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients
  • Train and mentor junior staff members

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a Michelin-starred setting
  • Knowledge of seasonal garden produce and ability to create innovative desserts
  • Calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
