As a Weekend Chef, you will be part of our integral team at Anglo American, Woodsmith Mine, Whitby, working closely with our experienced chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Support food orders and ensure the safety of customers and colleagues
\u2022
Maintain high standards of food quality and safety, adhering to allergen protocols
\u2022
Run and supervise kitchen sections to meet Head Chef standards
\u2022
Prepare, cook, and serve a range of meals, following recipe cards
\u2022
Complete daily paperwork for due diligence
\u2022
Assist with deliveries, stock checks, and ordering
\u2022
Monitor and record temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and hot cabinets
\u2022
Participate in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans

Requirements:

Previous kitchen experience with food handling is essential
\u2022
Relevant qualifications are desirable, but we offer apprenticeships for career growth

Allergen awareness and training will be provided

Excellent team player and communication skills are required
\u2022
DBS and credit checks will be conducted
