We are seeking an experienced Procurement Excellence Lead to join our team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of procurement strategies that drive business growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with our senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
- Category Management: Lead the development and implementation of category management plans that drive cost savings, process improvements, and supplier development.
- Supplier Management: Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers to ensure optimal performance and value delivery.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Requirements:
- Senior-level procurement experience: Proven track record of leading procurement teams and developing and implementing procurement strategies.
- Category management expertise: Strong knowledge of category management principles and practices.
- Supplier management skills: Ability to develop and manage relationships with key suppliers.
- Process optimization skills: Ability to identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and cost savings.
What We Offer:
