Job Title: Recovery Healthcare Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Healthcare Assistant to join our team at our Surgical Centre in Devizes. As a key member of our Patient Recovery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient journey by following patients' pathways and monitoring their recovery after procedures. Main Responsibilities: * Ensure patients' fitness for surgery through effective questioning and cross-referencing of patient pathways * Assist theatre teams in preparing patients for treatment, including ensuring nil by mouth periods and pre-operative medication are adhered to * Monitor patients' recovery, checking vital signs and their level of awareness * Communicate effectively with theatre staff, consultants, nurses, and other administration staff to ensure seamless patient care About the Role: This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As a Recovery Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with patients, supporting them both pre- and post-procedure. You will be working 3 days a week, with variable days from week to week, and shifts from 07:00 to 16:30.
