Job Title: Trainee Accounts Assistant

Location: Borehamwood

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join our team as a Trainee Accounts Assistant. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a central rates database and collaborating with various departments to resolve rate-related queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of a central rates database, assisting in rolling out and managing a new system
  • Create and maintain records within the central rates database to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information
  • Collaborate with Sales Ledger, Credit Control, and Commercial teams to resolve any rate-related queries
  • Analyse and reconcile data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs
  • Contribute to the development of the central rates database, with a focus on automating processes to streamline operations
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required to support the wider finance team and business
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a finance or administrative role
  • Strong data management skills and experience working with databases
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • A proactive approach and a willingness to learn and develop
