Driven by a commitment to patient-centered care, we strive to address local oral health needs and collaborate closely with the University of Plymouth's Peninsula Dental School to enhance the clinical education of dental healthcare students.

Opportunity for an Experienced Dentist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our team at PDSE. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional NHS dental care within a collaborative and innovative multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinically sound and high-quality NHS dental treatment, adhering to all relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain PDSE's rigorous clinical governance standards, encompassing infection control, patient confidentiality, and meticulous clinical record keeping.
  • Conduct regular audits of clinical treatments to ensure ongoing quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the entire dental team employed by PDSE.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree (BDS).
  • Active General Dental Council (GDC) registration and Performer's number.
  • Comprehensive dental knowledge and a current understanding of general practice within scope.
  • Proven clinical experience in an NHS setting.
  • Proficiency in clinical skills, forward planning, organization, and effective communication.
  • Competence in using clinical software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
